Work Packages
The GreenTech Horizons project is structured into six Work Packages (WPs) to ensure smooth implementation, quality control, and effective dissemination of results. Each WP plays a crucial role in achieving the project’s goal of fostering green and digital skills through an innovative learning ecosystem.
WP1: Project Management and Coordination
📅 Duration: M1 – M36 | 🎯 Lead Beneficiary: UNS
This work package ensures the smooth and efficient implementation of the project by managing administrative, financial, and communication aspects. Key activities include establishing project management mechanisms, monitoring progress, ensuring compliance with EU regulations, and facilitating collaboration among partners. Regular project meetings, progress reporting, and financial oversight will help maintain high standards of execution and accountability.
WP2: Design a Competency-Oriented Learning Ecosystem
📅 Duration: M2 – M6 | 🎯 Lead Beneficiary: KTU
WP2 focuses on identifying the skills needed for the green and digital transition and designing a learning ecosystem to meet these demands. The project will conduct a detailed analysis of emerging skill requirements and define a competency framework that integrates green technologies, digital transformation, and business acumen. The outcome will be a flexible, modular curriculum that aligns with both industry needs and higher education requirements in Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, and Mongolia.
WP3: Develop a Competency-Oriented Learning Ecosystem
📅 Duration: M7 – M17 | 🎯 Lead Beneficiary: KazNu
Building on WP2, this work package focuses on creating and delivering innovative educational resources. It includes the development of ten competency-based courses, e-learning materials, MOOCs, and hands-on training content. Additionally, modern laboratories will be established and equipped to provide students with practical experience in sustainable technologies and digital solutions. The WP also supports teacher training to ensure the effective delivery of the new curriculum.
WP4: Pilot and Refine a Competency-Oriented Learning Ecosystem
📅 Duration: M18 – M34 | 🎯 Lead Beneficiary: MUST
WP4 is dedicated to testing and optimizing the competency-oriented learning ecosystem across eight higher education institutions. Students will be enrolled in newly designed programs, and pilot courses will be implemented to evaluate their effectiveness. The WP also includes internships, business collaborations, and real-world application of skills. Feedback from students, educators, and industry partners will be used to refine the curriculum and teaching methods.
WP5: Quality Assurance, Monitoring, and Evaluation
📅 Duration: M1 – M36 | 🎯 Lead Beneficiary: RTU
This work package ensures that all project activities meet high-quality standards and objectives. It establishes a structured monitoring and evaluation framework, allowing continuous assessment of project progress, outputs, and impact. Regular progress reports, feedback mechanisms, and external evaluations will be conducted to identify areas for improvement and ensure the sustainability and relevance of project outcomes.
WP6: Dissemination and Exploitation
📅 Duration: M1 – M36 | 🎯 Lead Beneficiary: AzTU
WP6 focuses on maximizing the visibility and long-term impact of the project. A comprehensive communication strategy will be developed, including a project website, social media campaigns, and promotional materials. Key stakeholders, including universities, businesses, policymakers, and the wider community, will be engaged through dissemination events, conferences, and multiplier activities. The WP also ensures that the project’s results remain sustainable beyond its duration through policy recommendations and institutional integration.
