The 19th edition of the Student Research Clubs and Student Organizations Open Day at UITM Campus in Rzeszów brought together a vibrant community of students, researchers, and academic staff, showcasing the diversity of student-led initiatives and innovation.
A total of 21 research clubs and 4 student organizations presented their activities through interactive stands, demonstrations, and creative presentations, attracting strong interest from students across all study programs, especially first-year students exploring opportunities for involvement.
As part of the event, the GreenTech Horizons project was actively promoted, increasing its visibility within the student community. Through posters, printed materials, and direct engagement, participants were introduced to the project’s mission, international scope, and its focus on the dual green and digital transition.
The event highlighted strong student interest in areas such as:
- sustainable development
- social research
- green competencies
- digital innovation
Discussions with students revealed growing curiosity about international collaboration opportunities and the skills needed for emerging green and digital careers.
GreenTech Horizons visibility was further strengthened through:
- strategically placed posters and information materials
- informal presentations linking student club activities with project objectives
- QR codes directing participants to project communication channels
The Open Day successfully created a dynamic space for networking between students, club members, and academic supervisors, while reinforcing the importance of student engagement in sustainability, research, and innovation.
