International programme connects students and educators around green skills, digital transformation, and entrepreneurship
The UITM campuses in Rzeszów and Kielnarowa hosted the SUNRISE Green Summer School, bringing together more than 50 students, academics, and experts from across Europe for an intensive week dedicated to sustainability, innovation, and education.

Organized in cooperation with SUNRISE Alliance partner universities, the programme combined workshops, collaborative learning, and real-world innovation activities across multiple locations, including UrbanLab Rzeszów and the Podkarpackie Centrum Innowacji.
Participants engaged in hands-on sessions covering:
- green entrepreneurship and sustainable value creation
- startup development and pitching
- personal branding and communication
- responsible and ethical business practices
At the same time, academic staff took part in specialized workshops focused on innovative teaching methodologies, AI in education, and leadership aligned with the i5 PRME principles, strengthening competencies needed for modern, future-oriented education.
The event also served as an important platform for promoting the GreenTech Horizons project. Through presentations, discussions, and visual materials, participants were introduced to the project’s mission, international partnerships, and its focus on the dual green and digital transition. The integration of project themes into the programme helped participants connect their learning experiences with broader European sustainability and innovation goals.
The Summer School gathered participants from leading partner institutions in Germany, France, Sweden, Portugal, and Poland, fostering strong international collaboration and knowledge exchange between students, educators, and innovation stakeholders.

GreenTech Horizons visibility was reinforced through:
